Karo Rigaud

I was born in 1974 near Dresden (East Germany) but grew up in Paris (France). I’ve been living and working in Berlin for the last 5 years now.

I split my time between illustrating – mostly characters – faces, dudes, printing linocuts or drawing doodles and working as an art director for newspapers and magazines at Raufeld Medien.

I love awkward situations, observing people’s behavior in public transport, mice, egg yolk, sitting around doing absolutely nothing, nonsense, thinking that nothing we do has any importance, but that it’s important to do something…
